Coiled Up Giclee Print

This is a small print of a piece I made honoring the coiled beauty of black braids. Her crown is immaculate.

I remember my days of hours long braiding sessions. I had so much hair to braid. We would talk during it, eat food, listen to music and spend some quiet meditative time. I always loved the way the braids looked when done. I have a soft spot in my heart for beauty salons.
